Established in 1986, Mono Services originally began with a handful of trades’ professionals working for a small number of housing associations in and around the Manchester area.

Since then we have expanded our service offering into the insurance and commercial sectors, whilst substantially increasing the work carried out for a number of housing associations in the social housing sector.

Important dates in Mono’s history have been:

• A management buyout by then Directors, Eddie Roberts and Dave Armitage Snr in 1992.
• The selection as claims validators and approved contractors for Norwich Union and their corporate partners across the whole North West region in 2001.
• Acquisition by Mavinwood PLC in September 2006.

Currently Mono Services operate out of their Chadderton head office and employ approximately two hundred and sixty trades professionals and sixty head office staff. In 2007 sales turnover reached a record £16.5 million. We cover an ever increasing geographical area and have a rapid nationwide roll out strategy in 2008/9.
